OUR PRINT PROCESS
EARTH FRIENDLY PRINTING
From the inks we choose, to the way we lay out a shirt, it's all intentional and done with great care. We have become one of the industries leading printers with WATER-BASED ink, printing as many jobs as possible using a water-based ink process. We truly believe in being on the cutting edge of technology in our market. Although screen-printing is viewed as an "old form" only to be phased our by digital, we feel the two have to be married before the latter can take over. That's why we've also invested in what's called "Hybrid" printing.
plastisol vs water-base
PLASTISOL = Composed of PVC particles, it’s easy to work with and results in bright vibrant colors. It has great opacity allowing it to stand out even on dark garments.
WATER-BASED = Ink is water-soluble and takes less chemicals to clean out of our screens. Great for creating a vintage look.
*Use of water-based ink is subject to garment selection. Not all garments are fit for water-based printing.
